Progress for All
Our rural and urban communities offer incredible Colorado amenities. We must do everything we can to ensure they also offer good places to work, raise families, and start businesses. I have worked hard at the Capitol to support small businesses, protect workers, increase good-paying jobs, and bolster public education.
For example, in 2021, I co-sponsored successful Colorado Rural Jump Start legislation to support small business entrepreneurs in our rural communities. In 2022, I co-sponsored a bill to expand hands-on work experiences for Colorado students.

Knee-jerk blaming for poor economic indicators by those who caused so much inequality to begin with is disingenuous and counterproductive. We must keep working on pragmatic, common-sense policies to ensure economic progress for ALL Coloradans.
